Oh you're Vegan!?..So where do you get your protein!?

The first and the most frequent question I get asked is, "where do you get your protein from?" You can get protein from almost any plant-based substance. Where do we all get our protein from? Meat? No, not sorry to say but it's plants. When most people look at meat, they see food. When a Vegan looks at meat, he looks at the cold hard truth, that it's only dead animal flesh. The animal they tortured then killed, where did it get it's protein from? That's right, plants. You think about some of the strongest animals in the kingdom; Gorillas, Ox, Bison, Bull, Elephant, Hippos, Rhinos, all get raw and natural power from vegetation.

As for Humans, there is no actual live proteins or enzymes that your body needs in meat. Plant-based substances have live proteins, enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that your body needs. Plus, it's much cleaner and better on your body. As humans, our bodies don't have the ability to process dead animal flesh quick enough, so it sits to rot in our colon. Our bodies weren't designed to process animal-based substances in general. Plant-based sources of protein can include; spinach, kale, greens, kidney beans, soy beans (although I don't recommend), almonds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, peanuts, tofu, veggie patties, broccoli, asparagus, avocado, and the list goes on. So no, you don't have to consume dead and rotten animal flesh to get the protein your body needs. My personal favorite, and in my mind the best plant-based source or protein is Hemp seeds. It is a complete protein and has all the Omegas, Proteins and Amino acids your body needs and can't produce on it's own. Overall, there are plenty sources of plant-based protein that much better suited for your body. If you think back to Ancient Civilization time, where do you think Humans got their protein? From plants. A plant-based diet is better for your body, mind, spirit, longevity, health, wellness, eco system, and finances, for our existence was designed for it. Hope you got what you need from this post. Thank you!
